Past Owosso Historic Home Tour Homes

A source-linked index of 58 homes and related properties documented in Owosso historic home tour materials from 1988 to 2026.

Source reviewedUpdated October 28, 2026

This index connects 58 properties with surviving Owosso Historic Home Tour publications and official stop lists. It covers homes, former homes used as cultural venues, residential adaptations, and Curwood Castle. It is a documented selection, not a complete list of every tour ever held.[1]

Tour names often follow the owners at the time. The entries below match properties by address and building history; a repeated surname alone is not treated as a match. Each linked article identifies its tour source and page.

National Register overlaps

Tour information has been added to the existing Nathan Ayres House, Christian-Ellis House, Colin McCormick House, Curwood Castle, and Elias Comstock Cabin articles. Individual National Register listings and membership in a historic district are different; tour participation alone establishes neither. See Owosso’s National Register inventory.

The Gould mansion at 515 N. Washington and the Gould house recorded at 115 W. King have separate pages because they are distinct buildings.[2][3]

Tour publications consulted

Using the collection

Dates, names and access arrangements in these sources belong to their tour years. The 2024 Gould stop, for example, featured outdoor displays while the house interior was closed. A few tour properties lie outside the city proper. These records are not invitations to enter private property today.[12]

The archive’s permission to host booklets does not establish unrestricted rights to every photograph inside them. The booklets are linked as research sources; their photographs have not been copied into these new entries.[1]
