SA Automotive supplies automotive interior components and provides design, development and production services to vehicle manufacturers.[1]
The company's location information identifies an Owosso operation as well as facilities in other Michigan communities. Its company-wide capabilities should be distinguished from the work performed at each plant.[2]
Employment recorded in the 2023 housing assessment
The Shiawassee County Housing Market Assessment, prepared by Real Property Research Group for the Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership, lists SA Automotive with employment of 50-100 in Table 9 on printed page 30. The table credits SEDP for its employer information. This is a historical figure reported in the 2023 study, which does not specify a separate employment census date, full-time-equivalent measure or allocation among worksites.[3]
On printed page 33, the assessment reports that SA Automotive had purchased a building for expansion in Owosso Township. It supplies no specific job-creation figure for that purchase.[3]
